- Have you ever been frustrated using a product or system? Who hasn't been? When this happens to me, what I say to myself is another example of poor business analysis. Whether it being annoying, technical glitches, having to provide the same information multiple times, or screen options that are just confusing, how about not being able to find what you're looking for? We just want things to work, right? In business analysis, we start with the user and the rest of the details follow. We also reset to the user often throughout our analysis work. Sounds easy, right? Yet, I can't tell you how hard this can be when everyone else around you is focused on the technical details. Consider this. You're on a technical team supporting the app that customers use to order pizza. You get assigned to work on an API failure issue, and you are asked to perform a data mapping to help solve the problem.
