- [Instructor] Choosing the right AI model is the first step in any project. With the model catalog, we can discover, evaluate, and deploy models that fit our needs. In this video, we'll focus on how to use this catalog to find and evaluate models. Later, we'll return to the catalog to deploy our chosen model and integrate it into our workflow. Now, there are a lot of models available here. If you scroll down this page, you can see at the time I'm recording, there's 1,858 models. Most of these models, you'll find in the model catalog are pre-trained models. The advantage of these pre-trained models is that they reduce the time needed to develop AI applications because the model already possesses a significant amount of knowledge. If you know the model that you're looking for, you can search for it here. For example, you may have heard of DeepSeek, a cutting edge, open source AI model.
