Stages of a model audit
- [Instructor] Now that we understand the types of audits we can conduct, let's go over the stages of an audit. The first stage is scoping, which involves defining the scope, and objectives of an audit. The auditing team must work with stakeholders to understand the objectives of an AI system, the data sources used and the potential concerns associated with the system. This stage also involves identifying the key personnel, and departments involved in development and deployment. The second stage is mapping. In this stage, auditors would map the data flow and system architecture. This stage requires the audit team to identify data sources, collection methods used and models used. This helps the audit team understand in detail how the system operates, and when decisions are made.
