- Okay, so we have talked a lot about how these models can become misaligned, how we can have biased outputs that we might want to mitigate against, how we might not be able to trust what the models are saying. They can hallucinate. All of this stuff, right? We might have AI output in places we don't want it. So there's a lot of talk about regulation of this technology, but regulations are hard because the field of AI moves so fast and the systems that put them in place generally move so slowly, right? This is a problem with a lot of technology, especially with AI because it's something that kind of changes a lot of our fundamental ideas about our laws and copyright laws and everything like that and our values. But it moves incredibly quickly. So one piece of regulation that has been put in place, and this is a little bit older piece of regulation, which is the GDPR, which is the General Data Protection Regulation in the EU. And this went into effect in 2018. And this sets out rules…
