- Let's talk about some of the more philosophical questions surrounding all of this. And you know, you can argue that everything we've been talking about could be thought of as philosophical questions, but these ones are going to get a little bit more heavy. So one question, one sort of general philosophical question, is should AI models be open-sourced? So open-source software is basically software with source code that anyone can inspect and duplicate to modify or enhance it. This is software that is available on the internet, free for anyone to look at, download, duplicate. You know, make their own versions of. So there's a lot of open-source software out there. Most of the big AI models are not open-source, so like GPT, Gemini, et cetera are not open-source models. You cannot go download the model weights, you cannot look inside the models, you cannot replicate them yourselves. You can't download them. So some things that come up with this.
