We're going to break down the structure of the PMBOK Guide 8th edition. This edition is made-up of five sections. In this video, I'm going to focus on giving you a solid foundation for understanding how the guide is structured and how it connects to the standard for project management. So what are these five sections? Well, of course, we start with an introduction, but then we move into the project management performance domains, tailoring, inputs and outputs, and tools and techniques. And then there's a few appendices and a glossary. Let's start with the performance domains. A performance domain is a group of related activities or processes that are critical to delivering project value. There are seven performance domains, and they all intersect with one another. There's governance, scope, schedule and finance, stakeholders, resources, and risk. Remember, they're not isolated, they work together, they're interdependent. What do I mean by that?
