Now, we're going to talk about one of the most important parts of the PMBOK Guide 8th edition, the performance domains. And this is where the project management principles really come to life. The six principles we talked about earlier are the foundation, and then the performance domains is where you see those principles in action. Now you may remember there are seven performance domains, governance, scope, schedule, finance, resources, stakeholders, and risk. The performance domains, remember, operate as an integrated system. If you make a change to your scope, for sure you're going to probably change your schedule, your budget, and your resource needs, so you can't manage one domain in isolation.
