Introduction - InfraWorks Tutorial
From the course: InfraWorks: Drainage Design
Introduction
- [Instructor] All right. We've had a look at watersheds, we've had a look at culverts, and now let's have a look at drainage networks. Now, InfraWorks allows you to model drainage networks along with their outfalls, and it uses analysis-driven design and rules. So let's head over to bookmark number six, which is drainage. And what we're going to do here is we're going to put in an imaginary road and then attach a drainage network to it. We can do various things to prepare for this, and the most important, I think, would be to create our rainfall content. Now, InfraWorks comes as standard with an Anzac polynomial sample, a BDE sample, and a tabular sample. So if you click on this tabular sample, you see that we have the intensity table. So this is the amount of rain that's going to fall per inch in an hour within a five minute, 15 minute, 30 minute, and 60 minute period. Okay, so this is the sample that you could use in order to input your own values. Now, if you remember from our…
