- Now that you've given a grade to the three infographics let's discuss each one in more detail to see how they fared. First on the screen, you'll find the average scores that each infographic received from focus groups. How do these scores align with yours? To unpack this further let's discuss each infographic and their individual scores across each of the seven principles starting with the New Definition of American Success. As you can see this infographic received a passing grade primarily due to its layout, data viz typography, illustration, and content. When viewing the thumbnail the infographic is clearly designed on a grid doesn't overwhelm the audience with too much text and immediately appeals to any audience seeking a data heavy design. But when focus groups were asked why they weren't eager to score a five across the board on this design the recurring theme in their feedback concluded that the design lacked eye…
