Placing graphics without a frame

- [Instructor] With Adobe InDesign, you can place a graphic into an existing frame or dynamically during the place operation. Choose the Selection tool to make it active. Choose Edit>Deselect All if it's available to ensure that no objects are selected on the page. Choose File>Place and navigate to a graphic that you want to place in your design. Click the Open button. Because no frame was selected, you get the loaded place gun. Click and drag to position and size the image to where you want it to be placed in the document. As you drag, the image is scaled proportionately and a frame is automatically created to contain the image.
