Working with text wraps: Part 4
- [Instructor] So far, we've seen text wraps that involve cutting the image out, but sometimes you don't need to cut it out. Here, I have a wrap around the subject, but that subject is not isolated from its background. I'll come to the second page, which is my starting state and select the image. On the text wrap panel, wrap around object shape. The text that is on top of the image will temporarily disappear. I'll change the contour options to select subject. And if there is a discernible subject in the image InDesign, we'll find it. And as we see here, wrap the text around it. Now for this text frame on the right hand side, let's imagine that I wanted to overlap this. And when I move it up, it's adversely affected by the text wrap. So another option that we might want to call on in our text frame options is ignore text wrap. So then we have two other options to consider select subject and ignore text wrap.
