- [Instructor] When you reached the end of your long document project, you really want all the time and effort that you put in to yield a high quality result. And if you're going to print, you want to avoid errors on press which can be very costly. InDesign's preflight functions can help you find and remove potential errors before they become big problems. So let's take a look. InDesign has a preflight panel where errors in your documents are flagged, so you can quickly find and fix them. Also, you can enable a live preflight feature at the bottom of every document window, and have InDesign always checking a document for specific problems. The key to making live preflight useful, is to make a custom preflight profile that fits your needs.
