- [Instructor] When you're working on long documents you often work as part of a team. Sometimes team members might need to share comments, ask questions, or even store text for later use. And sometimes you might just want to save a reminder to yourself somewhere on the page. With InDesigns notes feature, you can embed editorial notes within a story, let's check it out, I'll open the notes panel by choosing window, editorial, notes. And in the layout, notes are indicated by a pair of little triangles in an hourglass shape. If you don't see them but you know they're there, choose view, extras, show notes, or click the show hide notes button in the panel. The color of the triangles corresponds to your user color, which you can set by choosing file, user. And you can also set your username here.
