Tracking changes
- [Announcer] There are times when you may need to keep track of the text changes made in your documents and either approve or reject those changes. Let's see how to do that. I'll start by showing the "Track Changes" panel by choosing Window, Editorial, Track changes. Track Changes is limited to text edits only. So I don't have a way of knowing if another user moved or resized a frame for example. But if anyone adds deletes or moves text, those changes can be shown in the story editor in InDesign. And they can also be displayed in the galleon story views in InCopy. To track changes. First, put your cursor in a text frame and click on the button on the left of the panel so it looks like it's pressed when you move your pointer away. This enables tracking changes for just this story. If you want to enable tracking changes for the whole document, go to the panel menu and choose enable tracking in all stories. Now…
