- [Instructor] As we begin our incident response planning efforts, we're going to start to create three distinct levels of documentation as the output of these planning efforts. These three levels consist of policy, plans, and procedures. All three of these are important to consider as we begin to develop our incident response plan. Now, as you begin to learn more about the incident response process, you're also going to need to understand how these three levels of documentation are going to interact with each other, and how they're scoped, and how they're different. At the highest level, we have this thing known as a policy. Now, a policy is a deliberate system that's used to achieve the outcomes desired by the organization.
