With a complex cyber incident response plan, with many processes, playbooks, and knowledge-based articles, not all of these will be used on a regular basis. With any luck, our cyber security defences are good enough to keep the bad guys at bay, and we don't have to use the majority of these processes from year to year. However, if we don't use them, and we never go through the post-implementation review process with them, How do we know if they're still relevant or functional? Here's a sobering reality.
