- In an earlier lesson, we talked about how to remember dates. In this video, we'll talk about remembering other types of numbers. There are several ways to do this. If your number is 7 or 10 digits long, you can turn it into a phone number. The seven digit number might be 8 5 7 4 7 4 7 but you can turn that into a phone number 8 5 7 4 7 4 7. Repeat that to yourself until it gets easy to remember. Or imagine yourself dialing that number on your phone. Or if you have to remember a number in the billions, like 3,128,574,747, you can turn this into a 10 digit number like a phone number with an area code. For example, 312-857-4747. This is a lot easier to remember than 3,128,574,747. What if the number is four digits, like 1152? Try turning it into a time like 11:52 A.M. You might even imagine that what you're doing at this time possibly thinking of what you might be having for lunch. Here's another trick you can use.…
