- [Instructor] Audio is a very important component as well as picture in our video conference calls, and I want to talk a bit about some ways to improve your audio. And I think the best way to go is with a separate microphone of some sort, I'm going to show you some different types in upcoming movies. But here's the thing, I'm using a USB microphone right now to talk to you, and you can tell when you go to my system preferences, and I go to the sound panel and go to input. You can see that the USB microphone that I have set up here is selected and you can kind of see what's going on with the recording. Now, I also have an internal mic in this computer, this is my computer that I use. And I thought it would be interesting just to give you a comparison of how I sound now with the internal mic.
