Configuring and using workspace logging
Configuring and using Workspace Logging Now in a Workspace, we can actually enable Logging which creates an Event House and this is on a per Workspace level and it can only have one Event House created. Now a read-only Event House is enabled by the Workspace Admin, and that enables you to read these logs that are generated. You can share this Workspace Logging Event House with other users, but the users must have the contributor or BOV permissions to be able to see it. We can query, and we can use KQL and we can use SQL to query the logging tables that get created in the event house. And we've got a retention period of 30 days with this workspace logging so it does support logging real-time streaming but also historical data as well. Now if we've got log analytics enabled on a workspace it has to be removed before we can enable workspace logging. So in our workspace settings we can enable monitoring so we can see see that we've got that Log Workspace Activity toggle. However, we do…
