- [Instructor] One of the more interesting features of Master Data Services is that Microsoft includes a plugin that integrates right into Excel. This allows business end users to view, extend, and update Master Data right from a program that they use every day. This allows them to recognize and quickly fix errors themselves, rather than have to contact the database administrators in the IT department to coordinate an update. The extension for Excel can be located right from the Master Data Services web application. If you're still exploring the product entity from the last movie, you can click on the home link in the breadcrumb navigation up in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, or go to the URL LocalHost/MDS. Click on the tile on the right that says Install Master Data Services in Excel. That'll take you right to the download page for the add-in.
