Using 3D Revolve to create a soda can

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to use the revolve effect to create something of a classic in the form of this 3D soda can. All right, I no longer need this ring, and in fact, it's going to slow things down. So I'm going to get rid of that layer by switching to the layers panel, and I could just click on the trashcan icon down here in the bottom right corner, but if I do that, I'll get an alert message. And if that bugs you, then what you can do instead is drag the layer and drop it onto the trashcan. Next, I'll go ahead and turn on the soda layer and you can see that it's a total of three very basic paths. I do the orange path using the pen tool and it's in the background, down here at the bottom is this sliver that I created using a pathfinder operation. And then up here at the top is a standard rectangle. Now I want to be able to revolve all these paths at the same time. And so I'll go ahead and marquee…
