Carving dynamic holes with Knockout Group
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how to draw holes using a feature called knockout group. That's available inside the transparency panel. So I want you to see something here. If you zoom in on the forehead, notice that we have this gray line right about there, and it goes all the way across. And it's a function of this white line in the background and that's happening because I have a stroke around my headline. And so somehow I need to get rid of that. Well, you might figure one approach would be the select the image. And then let's just go ahead and twirl open the clipping group right here. Notice that the clipping mask has automatically jumped back to the top. So illustrator apparently really prefers it to be at this location. But in any event, I could go ahead and select this. And then I might go up to my fill swatch, appear in the control panel, and change it to white. Just so that…
