Scale, rotate, and duplicate in one operation

- (Instructor) A question that I get oftentimes, especially from old freehand users, is how do you scale, rotate and duplicate in one operation? For example: using the scale tool, you can scale and duplicate, and then repeat that process. Using the rotate tool, you can rotate and duplicate, and then repeat that process. But how do you do both? And the answer is you apply a transform effect. And so we're going to be scaling, rotating and duplicating these base petals in order to create this effect right here. All right so, first thing we want to do, of course, is clicking the shape in order to select it. And then I'm going to back out just a little bit, and I'm going to go up to the window menu and choose the appearance command so I can gain access to my fill and stroke attributes, as well as my dynamic effects. Now I want to create various colors of flower petals here. And so I'm going to apply my transform effect…
