- [Instructor] All right, now let's say we want to fill the area outside the alien, including the grass and the sky and so forth. Well, currently we can't. Notice if I switch back to my live paint bucket, which again, I can get by pressing the K key, I can switch to this light shade of green that begins R=140, G=198, B=63. And then I could click inside the guy's shirt if I want to, to change it. I don't, so I'll press Control Z, or Command Z the on the Mac, to undo that change, but I can't click out here. Or that is to say, I can click as much as I want, but I'm not going to make any difference. And that's because there's nothing to contain the fill. In this region, we just have open path outlines. There is no containment whatsoever. And the solution by the way, is to draw a big rectangle around the artwork by first clicking on the Document Setup button up here in the control panel.
