Dynamic repeats: Mirror and Radial

- [Instructor] Now we'll take a look at what are known as dynamic repeats. Specifically, we're seeing examples of mirror and radial repeats. There are grid repeats as well. And this is a feature, incidentally, that first came to us from Illustrator on the iPad. And so I'll go ahead and switch to this freeform path outline here which is filled with a freeform gradient and then I'll go to the object menu, choose repeat, and notice we have three options: radial, grid, and mirror. I'm going to start with mirror, which allows you to create a dynamic reflection as we're seeing right here. You also have control over the angle of the axis, the axis about which the path is reflected, and you can move the axis inward as well, in which case you're going to click the bottom of the path.
