Assigning gradient strokes

- [Instructor] All right now, we're going to switch away from gradient fills to gradient strokes. Which are going to allow us to take this partially completed illustration and turn it into this very angry emoji. And so first thing I want to do is zoom in on this little bit of mouth right there, and easiest way to select it is going to be to go up to the view menu and choose outline, or you have that keyboard shortcut of control Y or command Y on the Mac. In that way, you can just partially marquee this path with the black arrow tool in order to select it, that'll just be for less confusion in the longterm. And now, press control Y or command Y on the Mac in order to switch back to the preview mode. The next step is to go over here to the gradient panel and select the stroke. And now you can either apply a linear gradient or a radial gradient. I'm going to go with linear, and then I'm going to grab…
