- [Instructor] Starting again with a blank document here, I'm going to place a PSD into this file and we're going to turn it into vectors. So shift+cmd+P, Shift+Ctrl+P or file place. And we're going to choose electric guitar. PSD. I've got the import options turned on and as this one has a layer comp attached to it, then we will see the Options dialogue. I'm going to choose transparent here. Again, it will take a moment to render that preview. There you go. That's it done. Flattened to a single image and hit OK. And then the file is ready for placing. So I'll simply click, like so. Let's zoom in on that file so that we can see it. And what we're going to do here is use the Image Trace function. Now we'll find that in the Control Strip at the top here, we'll also find it in the Properties panel. I think I'll invoke it from there this time.
