- Do you know what you want in your life? When I was a kid, my dream job was to be a waitress. I'm an extrovert, so the thought of talking to people, money, and food, chef's kiss. And what's interesting about this question is it's limited context. As kids, you are raised to think it only pertains to your professional life, what's going to bring you the most money, and doesn't keep in mind your personal life, like how often you want to travel or have time to do physical activities, like hiking. In this lesson, you'll recognize how to provide a holistic answer to this question. Before creating goals, you need to be self-aware of your starting point. I like to use the Life Balance Wheel created by Paul J. Meyer. It will help you determine how balanced your life is. Start by selecting 10 areas and roles you play in life.
