- Once you've built out a privacy framework for your organization, you need to communicate the framework clearly across the organization. The process of implementing a new privacy framework will impact every part of the operation, and add privacy responsibilities to many job descriptions. As we discussed earlier, executive sponsorship is critical of this phase, but executive sponsorship alone doesn't ensure the success of the program. You need the buy-in and participation of employees. Even if employees are not in decision making roles, they still need to know what will be expected and given time to prepare. Information Technology is a good example because IT systems can take a long time to configure, test and change.
