- [Narrator] This last chapter is meant to be either a starting point or a jumping off point for you. I'm going to step you through the process of setting up your own typical web hosting environment, a personal web space, a blog, an LMS, and an FTP service for manually loading files to a web server. As an educator, you likely already have access to all these infrastructure on your campus but I didn't want to get bogged down in the specifics of each campus's unique settings and requirements. Instead, I wanted you to be able to experience how the technology is supposed to work so you know the right questions to ask if you need help with your local campus infrastructure. Typically, this infrastructure would be setup and managed by your campus IT department or it's what you'd likely find if you decided to sign up for your own web hosting account.
