Linking to PDF files and other documents

- [Instructor] Making links to PDFs isn't any different than making links to other pages on your website. You can link to PDFs within your website or you can link to PDFs on other websites. The principles you use for linking PDFs is the same for linking any other kind of document including Microsoft Office documents. If the browser can't display a specific type of document then it will download the document instead. So let's practice making some links to these other types of files. As you'll see here on lines 19, 20 and 21 inside of link storage HTML located in your exercise files folder inside of folders 01 04 in the begin folder, you'll see that we are going to make links to a PDF on our site. We'll make a link to a Word document and we're going to link to a PDF elsewhere on the internet in this video. So let's start with the first one here on line 19 linking to a PDF.
