Showcase your skills with Certificates of Completion

- Nice job, you did it! You just completed a course on LinkedIn Learning, and now have a few options to showcase your new skills. Adding a Certificate of Completion from LinkedIn learning to your profile signals to your network that you've gained a specific, verifiable skill. Let's take a look at one. I am in the last content piece of this course called Project Leadership, and I'm just about to finish this up. If I click Finish, I have now completed this course, and you will see the Congratulations screen. After you've completed a course, you will see this screen appear, and this will show you all the different options for adding skills and the Certificate of Completion to your LinkedIn profile. Now, at the very top, it's going to show you Project Leadership, and this is the skill that was associated with the particular course that I just created. If I want to add this new skill to my profile, I can simply leave it because it's checked, but if I don't want to add this skill, by clicking on it, it will deselect it. Next, you'll see Link to your certificate, and in this case, it's Project Leadership. If I add this link to my profile, the Certificate of Completion for this course will appear in the Certificates section on my LinkedIn profile. Finally, I can decide if I want to create a post and actually share this with my network. Now, it'll pre-populate with some basic information, saying, I just finished this course, the course title, and a basic hashtag, but you can go ahead and edit this, and maybe share a key learning that you thought was really interesting from the course with your network. You can also choose, who do you share this post with? Do you want to share it with the public, with just your connections, or maybe with specific individuals? You can make those adjustments here. Now, if you decide I don't want to create a post or share it with my network, just deselect this check mark, and you can then click Add to Profile. In this case, it's going to add just the certificate in my Certificate section on my profile. Now, in addition to adding information to your LinkedIn profile, you can also download the Certificate of Completion right from the screen by clicking Download certificate. You'll see for this course, there are a few options. I'm going to go ahead and click the LinkedIn Learning Certificate, and you can copy this link right here, and again, it's going to prompt you to create a post, but you don't have to do that. Now, don't worry, you do not have to download the Certificate of Completion right now, you can always do this later, and let me show you how to find that. I'm going to go ahead and open up the left navigation bar, and go to My Content Library. On this page, you want to click on the Learning History on the left. In this Learning History, any courses that I have previously completed will be listed here, and you'll see that they'll be indicated Completed with the green check mark, and the complete with the date. If I want to download the Certificate of Completion for this particular course, I click on the three dots, and Download Certificate. It's that simple. By adding Certificate of Completions to your LinkedIn profile or sharing them with your network, you're not only showcasing the skills that you've gained, but also showing your commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
