Fun fact, I'm a big picture thinker. I thrive in situations where I'm able to be creative, innovative, and generate big ideas. Knowing this about myself has helped me to find work that I enjoy and where I get to use my strengths every day. In this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to identify the specific job duties that you enjoy so that you can do more of what you love in your next role. I mentioned a few things that I'm good at and love to do in my work, but there's a flipside to that. For a big picture thinker like me, the devil is the details. Over time, I learned that I do not do well in jobs that are highly specialized or require me to be super detail oriented or force me to do the exact same thing every single day. Knowing what kind of work activities drain, my energy was just as important as knowing which ones fired me up inside to find fulfilling work. You have to know what you enjoy doing and find jobs that allow you to do more of what you love and less of what you hate…
