- [Speaker 1] So the third thing that people do is that they lead with talking, not with listening. And I think partly this arises out of a model that a lot of us, if you have been trained in feedback or if you do a quick Google search, you'll come up with something called the Situation Behavior Impact model, or the SBI model. - Yeah. - [Speaker 1] And that model, if you're familiar with it, is to say like, you know, here's the situation, here's when something happened, here's what you did, and here's the negative impact that it had. And this is a common model that people will go to, and it offers a lot of clarity, so that's what's good about this model. The problem is you're leading with, I'm doing all the talking, as a feedback giver, I'm doing all the talking. And what I find is much more that that puts people on their back heel, right?
