As a child, I never wanted to miss a school day when it was art day. I didn't want to feel like I was missing out on something. It's a fact that some students can't access information the same as their peers. Therefore, they are always faced with the possibility of missing out. In this lesson, I'll discuss creating an inclusive learning experience to ensure that all students feel represented and included, thus eliminating the fear of missing out. First, make equal representation a priority. Prioritizing accessibility, diversity and inclusion is important to increasing engagement, academic outcomes, retention rates, and student satisfaction. This involves supporting students with disabilities, providing multilingual course materials and fostering a welcoming environment to promote individual success and social and economic mobility.
