- Change manifests in a lot of ways, but one of the most visible and stressful is in the form of technology. Just when you get used to one complicated type of software, surprise, it's time to transition to another one. Or you're issued new computers or devices by your company and have to relearn all the basic things you were so comfortable with before that have totally changed on the new model. It can feel frustrating, but here are three principles to keep in mind. First, adopt a mindset of curiosity. It's easy to focus on the challenges around new technology, how much time it'll take to learn how things that felt simple or difficult all over again and the like. But the technology is being updated or adopted for a reason. There are probably interesting new functionalities that once you master them, can help you work more efficiently or allow you to do things that weren't previously possible.
