How do I render an After Effects animation?
- Previewing is great when you're on your machine, but you ultimately need to create files. Let's go through the rendering process so you understand how to export items and what sort of choices you need to make. There are many ways to render in After Effects, but let me walk you through the highlights. I'm going to assume that your animation is good to go. In other words, your satisfied with the results and what you've built. In this case, we have an animated infographic. Well, what I want to do is control this and export it out. So I'm going to go to the Render Queue. I'll select Composition, Add to Render Queue. This loads it up so it's ready to go. You can mouse over and press the Accent Grave Key to maximize that window. Now, take a look at the two major settings, the Render Settings and the Output Module. Render Settings are normally set to Best, but if you click here, you'll see your choices. This is where you can…
