- [Instructor] Jump lists may annoy you or you may find them a great shortcut for being productive. Here on the task bar, you see app icons lined up, my favorite that I've pinned down here. You right click on an icon to see a jump list. It shows recently opened folders, for this example, with a file folder, and I could use websites for Chrome here. These are jump lists, recently visited websites, folders, whatever content has been opened since the jump list feature was activated. And these are a handy way to reopen documents or locations you've recently accessed. Using a jump list is quicker than opening an app and then hunting for a recent file list. To activate this feature or to disable it, open the Settings app, press the Windows I keyboard shortcut, choose Personalization, Start. This item activates jump lists.
