Windows, you got the C drive, maybe the D drive. And that's about it. Linux does things completely different. There's no C drive, there's just a tree. Everything in Linux lives under one root directory, the forward slash, your hard drive, your USB stick, your second drive, they all got mounted somewhere inside that tree. Let's look at how it works. If we list the file system tree, you'll see a bunch of directories. As you can see here, are some of the directors that we went over in the previous video.
