- [Instructor] In this section, we're going to learn how to visualize data using Tableau. To start head over to tableau.com/public and you'll need to sign up for Tableau Public and then get the free download. On Tableau Public what you want to do is head over to create and download Tableau Desktop public edition. Once there, click download Tableau Public. This works on both Mac and Windows. Once that's downloaded, go ahead and run the installer and accept the agreements and click install. Once Tableau public is installed, you should see a pretty much blank screen. Normally there would be all the different visualizations that you've previously opened here, and on the left you can see where you can connect to a file data source, that's what we'll be doing for this course, as well as server data sources.
