- [Instructor] With an abundance of job openings in areas related to sustainability, green technologies, and sustainable finance, it is surprising that landing these jobs still can be very challenging. Over the next few minutes, I want to give you some tips as someone who has been on both sides of the hiring. The first step, for most of us, is checking out job postings. I will add a sub-step to this action. When you look at various green job posts, read between the lines by understanding the hiring organization's sustainability vision and how this green position is expected to add value to the organization's priorities. Hiring organizations vary significantly in their views of what sustainability means, their sustainability maturity level, organizational purpose alignment, and motives for sustainability efforts.
