We're in the process of implementing the generative design model we've mapped out, here in Grasshopper. We set up our site. We've built out our logic for the sine wave, and we've combined the two to create a roof surface we can see here in the model. Now we're going to calculate the sides and the views, In order to get the sides, we're going to use the boundary of the site, and we're going to extrude that up to create the sidewalls. We can get the extrude component by double-clicking. Typing in extrude. I'll connect this curve. Question is how high should I extrude? I can just set a really high number, and hope that it always works. Or we can base it on the geometry that we're using here. So, I have a bounding box, and I have the top of the bounding box here, in the stage point. So I extract that point. The Z is the top, the bounding box for the original surface. Problem is, I moved everything up using the Z vector. So we need to incorporate that value into the Z value, adding the two…
