See the Sum, Average, Min, Max, or Count
- [Instructor] Google Sheets shows you at a glance the sum, average, minimum, maximum, and count of any spreadsheet cells you select. You can see the calculations on a range of selected adjacent or non-adjacent cells. First, I'll show you how to see these calculations on a range of adjacent cells. I'll use my sales spreadsheet. Start by highlighting the cells of the data that you'd like to total. I'll click and drag to select all the cells containing data in the Price column. While these cells are selected, now when I look down in the lower-right corner of my sheet, I see a little notification that wasn't there before. It reads, "Sum: $941.32." This is showing me the sum of the cells that I selected. I can also select the arrow on the right side of that notification, and it will show me several more calculations at a glance about the cells I've selected. Avg shows me that the average of the numerical values in the cell is $47.07. Min shows me that the minimum or lowest numerical value…
