- [Instructor] All right, that's it for this course, Design for Security and Compliance. Let's wrap up what we've covered. First, we talked about how to design for security. What this means is that you need to implement identity and access management in a way that protects your organization, use best practices like the principle of least privilege, have roles that are separated, and do regular auditing. We also got into how to protect data through encryption and controls. One of the things that's important about encryption is that it does add another layer of protection, so that if there is a breach, at least the data is encrypted. We also talked about managing keys and secrets with best practices including using the KMS, or Google Cloud Key Management Service. In terms of compliance, we talked about how to understand the relevant legislation and the emerging legislation as well.
