Viewing and updating a form
- [Narrator] Let's get down to the nitty-gritty of the forms. We'll explore how to efficiently view, edit, save, and update records to ensure accurate and consistent data for managing your work. Let's start with form views and form personalization. Like lists, each table has one or more form views with different fields, related lists, and layouts. Depending on your access, you can change the form view. For example, the Self Service view is usually presented to users who want to view their own records, especially those without an access role. You can personalize a form view to hide or show particular fields to fit your preferences. In this mode, you can also select the red icon next to the fields on the form to hide them. Please note that you can not hide the fields with the grayed out check boxes as they're required fields or already hidden on the form. Resetting will bring back all your hidden fields.
