Building a home lab
In this lesson, we're going to talk about how do we build a home lab, and you'll be surprised there's a lot of different ways. So let's dive into some of them. The first is that you can buy a PC build kit. Now just like we built in this course, I found one on Amazon for relatively cheap, and we built it together. You can get experience with that. The other thing is a lot of them come with Windows, a legal copy of Windows on it. So then you can get familiar with the operating system and how to install it and remove it and upgrade it and all of that. I highly recommend you look at a PC build kit. They're extremely reasonable and you can get a lot. The other thing that you could do, get some free used stuff. A lot of times folks are donating old computers and stuff like that. They don't have to be state-of-the-art. You just need to know what to do when you take them apart and put them back together. Build yourself a small network. Plug in some devices. See if you can share information…
