- Well, congratulations. You finished the course on getting your time and your work organized. Hopefully, you weren't just using this as a way to procrastinate. And even if you were, now you know exactly how to break that bad habit. (laughs) So my last and most important advice for getting and staying organized is to start slowly. Don't try to boil the ocean. Right, pick one, maybe two of the tools you've learned, and apply them for 90 days. Let it become a habit. Then after 90 days, pick one or two other tools, and apply them for 90 days. By approaching it this way, you won't be overwhelmed and just give up, and you'll have about half a dozen new organizational habits mastered within a year. If you want to dive into more resources, I'd highly recommend "The 5 A.M. Miracle" by Jeff Sanders to help you attack your day head on, as well as "168 Hours: You Have More Time Than You Think" by Laura Vanderkam to help you…
