For example, your colleague may interrupt you while you're working on a project to ask for immediate feedback on their work. They're speaking a million miles a minute, telling you about how they're so worried about making the deadline and that they don't want to mess this up. It's clear that they're feeling overwhelmed and insecure in their abilities. As they demand your attention, you might notice that your emotional experience is shifting.
