- Your AI action plan. Step one, join the AI Club. My advice is join one of the public gen AI platforms, be it ChatGPT, Google's Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, whatever. It's free or cheap to start, so no excuses. Step two, build your daily AI habit. Try it for, say, two things a day. It might be, you know, you use it to summarize an article in the morning, and then in the afternoon you ask it to draft a friendly reminder email. Soon, you'll wonder how you manage to get by without this assistant who never takes a coffee break. Step three is find your AI use cases. Not every AI use case works for every lawyer. Some love it for research, others for writing, others for brainstorming. It's a bit like a buffet. Sample everything, and then make up your plate. Just maybe skip the questionable sushi, or in AI terms, the things it's not good at, like giving actual legal advice or guaranteeing accuracy. And step four, talk about…
