- When I started practicing as a lawyer, the work felt like a mountain of paperwork and midnight drudgery. Today, the paperwork drafts itself and the footnotes arrive in seconds. That isn't the end of law. It's the beginning of better law. So please use AI, but verify, refine, and then put your name on the answer. AI will carry the load, but it cannot carry the responsibility. That remains ours. Our ethics, our judgment, our duty to clients and to the court. Use AI to buy back time for thinking, listening, advising, and leading. If we do that one prompt, one matter, one client at a time, we won't just adapt to the future of law, we'll write it.
